Paul Gritt, (Gigi) GVGSA Coach and Tide Parent:   Nancy has coached my daughter for private pitching, hitting lessons and on a fall travel team for two years. Nancy has a great eye, and ability to spot and correct problems with every aspect of girl’s softball. She can break each movement down and explain it at a level that youngsters can understand. Her great wealth of knowledge and years of experience has helped me as a softball coach and my daughter as a player. Nancy understands the big picture of softball, both athletically and socially. Our experience with Nancy has been truly great. My daughter loves playing the game and loves Nancy as her coach.

**Gigi now plays travel ball for Phenom 14u.  She will play HS ball at San Marcos starting this year.

Jeannine Forslund (Ali and Sophie Borden) "My daughters have both been taking lessons and participating in Tide for years.  Nancy has focused on fundamental mechanics that allow both girls to steadily progress."

**Ali is a senior at DP and will attend and play for Redlands in the fall.

Stephen Wilson (Georgia):  When our daughter decided to Pitch we contacted Nancy to ensure she learnt the correct pitching mechanics from day 1, almost 2 years later Georgia is still coached by Nancy and has come on leaps and bounds. Nancy’s philosophy of focusing on the mechanics of the pitching process “and the strikes will come” is so correct.

This summer Georgia had the opportunity to play on Nancy’s Tide team which allowed Georgia and her team-mates to benefit from Nancy’s full suite of Softball coaching skills & total understanding of the game.

Watching Nancy Coach a “working friendly” where almost every play results in a coaching opportunity for the girls to improve is something you have to see to believe.

**Georgia is currently playing for Case Batbusters travel ball team and will attend DPHS in the fall.

Dave and Teresa Fryklund (Haley and Ali) GVGSA Coach "We've been with Nancy for over 5 years.  She's the most qualified coach in all of SB! "

**Ali is currently a Junior at San Marcos, pitching her heart out!

Lisa Rothstein: (Marlee and Sadie) GVGSA Co-President and Tide Parent "Nancy coaches not just to win the game today, but to give the girls a more successful softball future."

**Although these kids went in a direction other than softball, they are amazing kids who learned great skills through softball.  Bill is still coaching in GVGSA. :)
